UPlanMe is a start-up that helps users find event recommendations in their area, allows them to share those events across several social media platforms, and syncs those events with their personal calendars. UPlanMe attempts to simplify the way people discover upcoming events, activities, specials, sales, etc. from the brands, local businesses, sport teams, and musicians they love.

Think back to a time when you remember seeing pictures from an event you missed out on? Or hearing about a sale two days after the fact? I know, as gentlemen, we try our best to not let those types of things happen or really get to us, but there is no denying that these types of situations do occur.

It was this exact ‘pain point’ that led Sean and his co-founder Brian on the path that resulted in UPlanMe. Taking notes from their personal experiences, they figured that this must have been happening to other people; Sean and Brian, along with a small team of friends, set out to solve that problem. Their plan was help shorten the distance between consumers and the brands they love – helping them find out about the events, sales, and specials that mattered to them.

Ultimately, UPlanMe is a personalized calendar service, offering individualized recommendations based your interests. These interests are refined by unlocking various events and brands within the UPlanMe Platform and by importing your Facebook Likes. This is really the magic that makes UPlanMe tick. Having an intelligent learning system helps users and brands find each other based on organic and mutual interests.

On top of their unique feature set, UPlanMe leverages platforms that we are accustomed to using already; platforms like Outlook, iCal or Google Calendar. UPlanMe syncs seamlessly with these applications, allowing you to keep your schedule tightly synced, full and organized.

The next big thing UPlanMe plans on working on is a mobile app version to help users discover events on the go.  While they’re preparing for their next milestone, UPlanMe is determined to maintain a genuine connection with their users…keeping them as a priority as they begin to grow their company and product.
